(Mommy has a severe aversion to sledding, having come away from one run with 207 bones rather than 206.) I told them I didn't want to hear it and plugged my ears while they yelled and screamed and tried to tell me they were going to do it again this year.

When they finally gave up and settled down, and I unplugged my ears, the Little Dude, jut five years old, looked at me and told a knock-knock joke.

It went like this:

Little Dude: "Hey, mom, knock-knock."

Me: "Who's there?"

Little Dude: "We're gonna build another jump this year."

Well played, son, well played.
